Carter (Scott Carter)
Carter has practiced yoga for over 15 years and found his passion for teaching in 2007 after making his first feature documentary film "ONE" where he spent 3 years with some of the worlds greatest spiritual teachers, authors and icons (Deepak Chopera, Ram Das, Robert Thurman, Ken Wilber and Thich Nhat Hanh). He learned the classic eight-limbed path of ashtanga by legendary yogini Beryl Bender Birch. He has taken this experience and infused it with traditional asana allowing space for self exploration. A Michigan native, Carter made Ann Arbor his home for the pat 3 years but continues to teach around the country assisting in workshops, retreats and one-day events. Carter is an artist, writer and an independent filmmaker.
