Lora began her healing, yogic journey in 2008 and continues to return to her mat to breathe and revitalize. Knowing experientially the myriad benefits that yoga brings to one's life and wanting to hold a trauma-informed space within the yoga community, she pursed her 200hr certification with Ana Hough here at A2 Yoga and completed the Trauma Center's Trauma-Sensitive Yoga 40-hour training at Kripalu. Her classes are based on traditional Hatha forms, breathing techniques, and mindful meditation. Lora believes that yoga is a way of being—a healing and strengthening practice that invites us to be in the present moment and reconnect with ourselves, our friends and family, and our communities. Through connection, we find joy and meaning, liberation and peace.
