Lead by Mary Morley and Erik Walz, the Acro Yoga Foundations sessions will show you how to cultivate trust, connection and playfulness while building strength, flexibility and balance. There are three primary roles: 1. Base 2. Flyer 3. Spotter. Poses include bird, whale, folded leaf, counterbalances and shoulder-stand. Space is limited. Reserve your spot today. All levels welcome. Mary Morley (RYT 200) is a certified yoga teacher, certified at the Samadhi Center for Yoga in Denver. She began practice in 2010 and was transformed by the mental, physical & Spiritual benefits. She has been practicing AcroYoga for over a year. Her compassionate attitude brings energy to classes where students are encouraged to open their minds and hearts through movement.
Erik Walz is an acrobatic performance artist from the Lansing area who has been teaching ArcoYoga for 4 years. He is passionate about AcroYoga not only as a form of exercise, but also for its ability to foster trust and to turn individuals into community. Erik brings a fun-loving attitude to class that encourages students to explore poses and their own capabilities in a safe and supported manner.
