Come together for the medicine of movement, drumming, energy shifting, smiles, sweating, learning and community! Rhythmfamily traditional instruction of Djembe, Dounou drums and percussion. Sharing the music and meditation of drum awakening. All levels, all inclusive. Originating from breath, we will join in our unified expression of rhythm and movement, sound and silence. Come drum, come dance, all to share your heart beat. No past drumming or dancing experience necessary.

Animal Flow Introductory Classes

Animal Flow is an exciting ground based movement system for movers of all levels. This practice looks and feels like an accessible combination of yoga, breakdancing, gymnastics, martial arts, hand balancing, and animal locomotion. The movement difficulty ranges from as easy as crawling to as advanced as hand standing with a lot of levels of grace, play, and power to enjoy in between those two extremes.

In these introductory classes I will teach you the fundamentals so you can leave our sessions with a playful flow you can do anywhere!

Cost: $20 or what you can pay. Submit payment at Venmo @playoverdiscipline, on Stripe at https://buy.stripe.com/7sIbMo9c3fsHaTmfZ2, or in person with cash.
Bring water and a towel and wear comfortable athletic clothing. A yoga mat is not necessary due to a lot of pivoting that happens in this practice.

Dance Journey

You're being invited to go deeper, to strengthen your relationship with yourself, with community, with Divinity.

Come take a journey of the body, mind, emotions & spirit. We'll create a safe space with each other through an opening circle, honor the divine through purification rituals, then embark on a sacred journey of expression and transformation through ecstatic dance. Our dance will gently transition into a sound bath to help us integrate the transformation, then we'll ground our insights and experiences through a closing circle.
